Step Three:
  Your Post-Operative Care

  • Please wear the clear shields or goggles for 4 nights while sleeping.
  • Keep artificial tears in the refrigerator the first day and use drops every hour while awake.
The next day, you will return for a one-day post-operative check. Your "new eyes" are tested to see how much your vision has improved.

Celebrations are encouraged!

LaserOne post-operative visits are scheduled on the following anniversary dates:
1 Day, 1 Week, 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year

Medications:

Ocuflox, Clioxan, Quixin, Vigomax or Zymar

 

One drop is to be instilled in your surgery eye(s) 4x/day (breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime). Use these medications for 1week, unless instructed otherwise.
   
Pred-Forte, Lotemax, Econopred or Flarex Instill one drop every 2 hours while awake for the first 24 hours; then four times a day for one week or as instructed by your doctor.
   
Tears This drop will help lubricate the eye(s) and can be used to reduce the burning or foreign body sensation. You may use this drop as often as you wish, but wait a few minutes if you have just used the medicated drops.

You will notice a slight irritation and blurred vision for the first day or so after your procedure. If you notice severe pain, increase in pain, or significant change in your vision, please contact LaserOne immediately. After hours, call (888) 882-2020.

  • Do not swim or engage in water sports for 2 weeks following your procedure.
  • You may resume normal activities such as driving and moderate exercising after 24 hours.
