LaserOne Medical Director
Dr. Richard S. Koplin is a renowned board-certified ophthalmologist who has performed refractive surgery since its inception. Active in research in laser vision correction, he is the co-inventor of the Corneal Modeling System, technology that is used by all LASIK surgeons today. Dr. Koplin serves as Senior Attending Surgeon, Director of Eye Trauma and Medical Director of the Department of Bio-Engineering Computer Science at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. He also was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at New York Medical College.
