Dr. Wu is an experienced and highly regarded ophthalmologist who is committed to providing the highest quality of care to her patients. Specializing in Cornea, External Diseases and Refractive Surgery (Laser Vision Correction), Dr. Wu is a graduate of Yale University and was a Fulbright Scholar, for which she obtained a degree in public health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.  She received her doctorate degree in medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, during which she was recognized with the Gamble Scholarship for outstanding scholastic achievement, as well as the Charles A. Oliver Memorial Prize in ophthalmology.  Dr. Wu completed her ophthalmology residency at Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she was awarded the Peter McDonnell research prize.  She then obtained subspecialty fellowship training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami.

Dr. Wu, an associate at Ophthalmic Consultants, P.C., currently practices at LaserOne Vision Correction on Park Avenue and at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where she is actively involved in research and training of ophthalmology residents.  She is a member of The American Academy of Ophthalmology and The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and has authored several articles on corneal diseases, as well as presented original research at national meetings.

Along with Laser Vision Correction, Dr. Wu¡¯s surgical expertise includes cataract extraction, corneal transplants, and other corneal procedures. In her spare time she also enjoys traveling the world and playing tennis.
