David C. Ritterband, M.D.
Dr. Ritterband is a
board-certified ophthalmologist and he is committed to providing the
highest quality vision care for his patients. Dr. Ritterband is a
graduate of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and he received his
doctorate in medicine from New York Medical College. Dr.
Ritterband served an internship at St. Vincent's Medical Center in New
York and performed his residency as Chief Resident at New York Medical
College. He is also Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at
New York Medical College.
Dr. Ritterband has published numerous clinical articles and has authored several papers on corneal and external disease. He is a principal investigator of several research protocols and is a frequent lecturer on refractive surgery.
Dr. Ritterband is a member of numerous professional societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association for Research in Vision, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the Ocular Microbiology and Immunology Group, the New York State Ophthalmology Society, and the Paton Society of the Eye Bank Association of America.
